The Dojo: A Public Verdict on Authority
This is the live log of a 90-day public experiment conducted by Eyal Krief. We are testing the SheepRank doctrine against Domain Authority. All data, scripts, and logs are updated weekly.
I. The Premise: A Ghost on Trial
For over a decade, SEO has been shackled to a ghost metric: Domain Authority (DA). It measures backlink popularity, not semantic legitimacy. The Dojo was created to put this ghost on trial.
Hypothesis: in an AI-first world, a strategy focused on semantic authority (SheepRank) will outperform one focused on DA. This log exists to prove it with open, falsifiable data.
II. The Protocol
- Primary Directive: Follow only the SheepRank Playbook.
- Zero-Link Mandate: No artificial link building. Only organic links allowed.
- Weekly Measurement: Track SheepRank, DA (Moz), GSC traffic, and 10 keyword positions.
- Radical Transparency: Publish all data, scripts, and charts to GitHub with SHA256 verification.
III. Live Data Feed — Week 6
SheepRank: 47 (+5)
DA: 18 (+0)
Top 10 Keywords: 4/10

Weekly Log Entry:
This week’s +5 SheepRank came from restructuring three pages into FAQ schema. DA stayed inert, blind to architectural changes. Direct correlation observed: semantic upgrades → ranking gains; DA = irrelevant.
IV. Why It Matters
The Dojo is not a marketing piece — it is a verdict. Semantic authority wins. Link-chasing dies. This log is the public proof.
